Coming soon to iPhone
Know what’s really in your food.
Scan any barcode. In a second, Platefully tells you whether it fits your diets, your allergies and the people you cook for, with a 0–100 score and the reasons behind it.
Be first to know when it’s on the App Store. No spam, one email at launch.

How it works
Ten seconds in the aisle. No squinting.
Scan the barcode
Point your camera at any barcode. No list on the package? Snap the label instead, and Platefully reads it for you.
See if it fits you
A clear 0–100 score, then a straight answer: works for you, or not a match, with each clashing ingredient named.
Choose better
If it scores low or doesn’t fit, Platefully suggests similar products that score higher and suit your profile.
Built around you
Your diets, allergies and health, checked on every scan.
Tell Platefully how you eat once. Every product after that is checked against it, including the ingredients that hide under other names.
- Gluten-free, dairy-free, vegan, keto, low sugar, or your own
- Peanuts, tree nuts, sesame, shellfish, Red 40, seed oils and more
- Conditions like IBS, diabetes, PCOS or reflux
One honest score
A number you can trust, and every reason behind it.
The 0–100 score comes from the product’s nutrition, how processed it is and the additives in it. Every ingredient gets its own rating and a one-line reason, so you never have to take the number on faith.
The same product gives the same answer every time you scan it.
Swaps, not shame
Better alternatives, chosen for your profile.
When something scores low or doesn’t fit, Platefully shows similar products that score at least ten points higher and suit your diets and allergies. Never the same product in a different size.
For the whole table
Check one product for everyone you cook for.
Add your family once: a partner who’s dairy-free, a child with a peanut allergy. Every scan shows who it works for and who it doesn’t.
Built from real labels
Millions of products, and the ones that are missing.
Platefully looks products up in Open Food Facts, the free, open food database. When a product isn’t there yet, a photo of its label is enough, and you can choose to add it for the next shopper.
Labels in Spanish and other languages are read and checked in English, so an allergy never slips past in translation.
The label is the truth. It’s just hard to read.
Platefully does the close reading, so you can make the call in the aisle.
The Journal
Reading the label, one ingredient at a time.
Your next grocery run, with the fine print already read.
